Najah Qamar is a creative born and based in Denver, Colorado.

Najah Qamar has made a habit out of trying to expose herself to all sides of humanity and art. Whether that be through service work, political science programs or immersive cultural exchanges, she is wholly interested in a life of learning and, eventually, teaching. On the artistic side of things, she has experience in modeling, both as a runway model and in her own self-portrait photography practice. Najah has always loved anything she could make with her own two hands, initiating an ever-growing interest in the fashion and textile world, as well as the visual arts, particularly painting. Among her other talents, she most enjoys educating and engaging with the children of her community. Coming from a long line of educators, Najah hopes to combine this natural gift along with her artistic talents in ways that give back to the communities here in Denver that helped shape her.

Below are some programs/exhibitions that Najah has been apart of:

  • Recipient of Generation Citizen’s 2016 Democracy Education Youth Advisory Board Membership position in New York City.

  • Recipient of 2018 Global Works (now Wonderfolk) Community Fund Student Fellowship. Two week service-work trip to Panama.

  • Modeled for the world-renowned Senegalese designer, Oumou Sy, for African Leadership Group’s Gala and Cultural Celebration 2023.

  • LAWLESS, a Fashion Experience by DNA Picasso and Dominique Christina. Modeled for designer and artist Faatma Be One for this sold out fashion show, presented by MCA Denver
